Eligibility⌄
Only devices purchased from Shiok POS are eligible for buyback under this programme.
Device Condition⌄
Devices must be in good working condition at the time of buyback and will be assessed before the buyback is agreed upon.
Devices with severe physical damage, missing parts, or that are non-functional may not qualify for buyback or may be offered a reduced buyback value.
Buyback Value⌄
The buyback value is determined by the model, age, condition, and market value of the device at the time of submission. A formal evaluation will be conducted by Shiok POS.
Age of the devices will be rounded up to the closest year. For example, a 17 months old device will be considered 2 years old.
The buyback value will be provided as a fixed amount or as credit towards the purchase of new POS equipment, at the discretion of Shiok POS.
The final buyback amount will be communicated and agreed upon before any transaction is completed.
Buyback Process⌄
To start the buyback process, merchants should reach out to Shiok POS customer service agents.
Once the device is assessed, an official offer will be made within 3 business days of the device arriving to Shiok POS.
Accepted devices will need to be shipped or dropped off at the merchant's expense.
Payment and Compensation⌄
Payment for buyback devices will be made via bank transfer within 2 business days of the device's acceptance.
If the buyback value is offered as store credit, the credit will be valid for 3 months from the date of issue.
Program Limitations⌄
This buyback offer is subject to availability and may be withdrawn or altered at any time without notice.
Shiok POS reserves the right to refuse any buyback offer if the device does not meet the criteria for buyback, or if the merchant fails to follow the outlined process.
Limitation of Liability⌄
Shiok POS will not be liable for any damage or loss incurred during the shipping or transportation of the devices.
Shiok POS is not responsible for any financial losses, data breaches, or issues related to the device beyond the scope of the buyback transaction.
